The Process to Cancel Aer Lingus Flight Ticket

Cancellations within 24 hours of booking will get you a full refund irrespective of the fare type you are holding. But after this risk-free period, Saver or smart fares are non-refundable. Passengers of Flex fares will get a refund only for the tickets. The baggage, seats, or another administration fee will not be refunded. Moreover, a refund on flex fare will be credited only when you cancel the ticket 2 hours before the departure but there’s no refund for baggage, seats, and other administrative expenses.

In the case of Business fare, 15% will be deducted from the refund amount if the flight is canceled just before the scheduled departure, and baggage or seat fee will not be refunded. In the case of Business flex fare, only the ticket cost will be refunded if the flight is canceled before the flight departure. Baggage or seat fee will not be refunded. For all the flights that were canceled due to Covid, e-credits were issued in lieu of a refund which can be used for a future booking. In case of the death of a family member, flights must be canceled before the departure and a refund can be requested via an online refund form.
